My current work, "436," is a multi-disciplinary art project informed by an 1859 slave auction catalog. The catalog lists each enslaved person by name and numbers 1 through 436, the order in which they went onto the auction block.

Upon completion, "436" will include an installation of 436 textile-based, handwoven sculptures that embody and illuminate the story of each person listed in the catalog.
