Project Row Houses -Title: A Litany II: (dis)place

Between the opening of the Round on March 25 and the closing on June 4, Houston-based artists and artists from the Black Women Artists for Black Lives Matter NYC chapter will shift spaces within and outside of Project Row Houses for weekly durational performances. These performances will include gestures, sound installations, processions and rituals to explore transformative and language justice. They will also engage and celebrate the multiple nuances of home – as they relate to African Americans in both cities – while honoring black and brown bodies impacted and lost as a result of injustices by police officers.
